SALARY RANGE:     75,000 THB (Up to experience)

REPORT TO:     Store manager

Co-ordinates and supports FM activities and provides sustainable, safe, clean and functional environments for our co-workers, visitors and customers. Other responsibilities include ensuring that all sites are maintained to a common standard – supporting in shape as new - to promote and protect the company brand and secure the company position as the leading home furnishing retailer in the local market. The Facilities Manager also Supports Shopping Centre management and Expansion organisations through the centralised management and operation of buildings and their facilities, mechanical operating systems, interior and exterior structures and support services within all company properties.

Key responsibilities

Reporting to Head of Facilities Management, the Facilities Manager is to:

  • Deputize for the Head of Facilities in their absence
  • Support the Head of Facilities in Leading and managing the regional FM department, and the satisfactory delivery of all its tasks.
  • Support the Regional Facilities Manager working with the business units to ensure appropriate competent resources are available to manage all FM- related tasks.
  • Working with Expansion team to ensure all sites are maintained in shape as new through the delivery of planned, corrective and operational maintenance services and project activities.
  • Support the Head of Facilities to ensure all FM services at all stores are delivered, and assets and buildings are maintained in strict adherence with all applicable local regulations.
  • Support the Head of Facilities in developing, implementing and communicating best- practice FM practices throughout the region with expert knowledge and findings from research and external partners.
  • Support the Head of Facilities to undertake periodic supplier reviews based on feedback from sites and conduct periodic audits of supplier performance.
  • Support the Head of Facilities to oversee the acquisition, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposition of building systems, furniture and equipment, grounds and exterior elements in managing the maintenance of building structures and permanent interiors.
  • Manage the process of assessing the quality of services and the facility’s effectiveness
  • Managing the implementation of environmental initiatives related to FM
  • Ensuring effective energy management according to company global standards
  • Producing and distributing periodic reports on performance of FM services against operational and budget plans, and if appropriate conduct FM cost benchmarking.
  • Support the Head of Facilities to ensure all sites create, implement and actively manage annual operational and budget plans to enable all aspects of the building and grounds (facilities, building structures, assets and systems) to be maintained to agreed standards, costs and timeframes.
  • Partnering the company purchasing organization to improve efficiencies/costs/equipment through co- ordinated supplier contract renewals and contract negotiations in line with company Retail Asia’s FM
  • Identifying own professional development needs and participating in annual self-assessments to review development opportunities.
  • Ensuring all sites create, implement and actively manage annual operational and budget plans to enable all aspects of the building and grounds (facilities, building structures, assets and systems) to be maintained to agreed standards, costs and timeframes

Qualification:

  • Male/Female; Thai nationality
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field
  • Experience in High building or Hotel
  • Good communication in English is required
  • Good knowledge of local FM, service and maintenance market
  • Proven experience in working with sustainability and the environment from a facility management perspective
  • Good knowledge of industry standards, manuals, rules and general best practice
  • Mechanical, engineering and technical knowledge and experience in all facility-related systems (building, electrical, HVAC, structural, site, mechanical, lighting control, building automation and energy management; health and safety and security)
  • Working knowledge of CAFM systems
