Position: FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (base at Rajchaburi)

Salary Range: 150,000 THB (Up to experience)

Job Propose:
- To drive diverse strategies in the areas of “Business Planning & Analysis” “Accounting & Reporting” and “Costing”, “Treasury” and “Taxation and secretarial functions” with meticulous planning to act as a proven business partner of the organization
- To create business & financial plans towards successful accomplishment of core objectives of the organization
- To enhance financial processes and systems, reviewing complex financial data to facilitate strategic financial growth of organization as well as achieve profitability targets.
Job Responsibility:
- To act as a partner and advisor to the business and Operations, aiming to improve the business, by identifying measures to increase profitability, reduce costs and increase margins/contributions.
- Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, systems and other management activities. Contribute to special mandates in support of growth plans of the business.
- Review performance versus forecasts and annual profit plans. Provide analyses of performance and specific recommendations for actions to meet planned goals and grow the business
- Understand holding company operations and align communication and policies with it.
- Work with Business and Operations to prepare the annual budget & quarterly re-forecasts and help in delivery of the same by providing timely feedback.
- Perform financial analysis each month to ensure that financial statements accurately reflect the financial activity. Coordinate with Functional Managers to summarize items needed to be reviewed in the monthly Financial Review.
- Plan, supervise and audit physical inventory. Review results with appropriate management and coordinate corrective actions as needed based on results. Assign audit and review personnel for the audit. Determine accuracy of inventory and all review functions.
- Maintains and updates plant cost reduction matrix and leads the monthly and periodic meetings to review the plant(s)’ cost savings achievements.
- Assess and monitor set of KPIs for the business and operations and take accountability to improve and achieve them.
- Ensure that there exists suitable controls in every function/ process in the Company. Work with difference functions to ensure that they are in compliance with company and local accounting policies and procedures. This includes internal control, accounting and reporting, tax, legal and asset management.
- Create and maintain a robust management information system which covers every aspect of the operations of the company and which provides accurate, timely and consistent input to the management.
- Ensure statutory compliance in the areas of taxation, companies act and other economic & labour laws.
- Establish and implement short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Manage KPI (Key Performance Indicator) to accomplish the company goal.
- Prepare an audit plan for the year and ensure that the audits (Statutory, Tax, Group, and Internal) are completed with the timelines.
- Ensure proper planning for Tax, filing of returns and handling of assessments.
- Ensure that the treasury function in managed for existing operations and plan for future funding needs of the Company
- Working capital management; drive for the reduction of working capital across the organization. Ensure timely and efficient collection of debt by bringing in credit control measures.
- To analyze investment proposals for recommending to management and its accounting
- To lead, review and decide on proposals for new projects / initiatives for growth and competitiveness
- To Support, coordinate & conduct meetings and ensure implementation of decisions taken in the business meetings.
- To assess, develop / coach the team on emerging domain knowledge needs, implement corporate initiatives for capability building. Identify and groom team for shouldering wider responsibilities.
- To continuously monitor the rapidly changing needs of the business and influence the team to be competitive.
- Uphold the values, ethics and culture of the organization and be an ambassador of the Organization.
- Recruitment, Training of employees; planning, assigning & directing their work; appraising performance; facilitate employee engagement activities; addressing complaints & resolve conflicts for building a positive team spirit & improve the employee morale / motivation
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in Financial management
- Experience/background of working in MNCs (Manufacturing)
- Good working knowledge of English Language
- Proven experience as a key business partner of the management in business decision and strategic cost management support
- Proven experience in Conceptualizing and developing financial plans for new initiatives, business operations, commercial functions etc. to enable achievement of objectives as per organizational goals and driving the KPI achievement of the management.
- Proven experience in Analyzing & evaluating business performance from the financial/operations point of view and key business metrics to facilitate financial control in line with corporate financial objectives.
- Very good experience in communicating with the senior management team.
- Hands on Domain knowledge & Taxation knowledge
- System knowledge – SAP All Finance related modules, Excellent in MS-Excel. Must Have hands on SAP system knowledge and IT management
- Must have People management experience
- Must have worked in the position of Finance Manager / Finance Controller earlier
