POSITION: Senior Commercial Manager (Sustainable Solution)

SALARY RANGE: 150,000 - 2xx,xxx THB up

This position is the primary services sales “deal maker,” who drives the identification, management and closing of customer services opportunities, across a portfolio of practice/cross practice solution offerings. Works closely with team to manage multiple opportunities (i.e., service sales pipeline) with multiple customers, from identification through close and transition to project work.
Main responsibilities:
- Closing profitable consulting and services opportunities, by identifying high impact customer business needs, qualifying business value, and rapidly determining bid strategy and solution approach, including the decision to bid or not bid.
- Manages a portfolio of opportunities to ensure a stream of contracts and revenues
- Using a consultative selling approach and following a defined services customer engagement process to identify and close each opportunity
- Key owner of all aspects of client development and deal closure, with direct accountability for fulfilling product offerings, client satisfaction, account development and future sales phases of the business development process.
- Maintains profit/loss/revenue accountability for client engagement, tracks financial metrics and reports progress. Tactical work is the accountability of other team members.
- Leads new account sales process by developing account plan, identifying necessary resources, leading client interface, and coordinating various resources to develop opportunities and close business.
- Conducts account analysis and planning to enable appropriate allocation of time to accounts and clients.
- Leverages appropriate project management, product and industry specialists as effective selling resources.
- Significant interaction with all personnel at the business unit level, including participation in special project meetings, account team meetings, and communication and teaming within the business unit.
- Mentors junior sales and project manager professionals to increase the time to full effectiveness.
A Must skills:
- Ability to negotiate beyond price to reflect value
- In depth understanding of the consultative sales approach and the ability to guide others in its application
- Excellent knowledge of the global services and solutions business, services sales, marketing and go-to-market strategies and methodologies
- Ability to work collaboratively with all major stakeholders in practice management, business and delivery management, and global support team management, including Finance, Planning, Marketing, Human Resources, etc
Qualification:
- BA or BS or equivalent require; MBA/ Advanced degree preference
- Experience in an external consulting role and/or experience in congruent areas preferred
- 10 years of professional work experience in Sales with at least 5 years in sales or commercial and 5 years consulting experience (preferably) including direct supervisory responsibility or team leadership
- Management in a variety of industries considered including: light and heavy manufacturing, oil and gas, utilities, construction and transportation.
- High intensity, highly adaptable with ability to tolerate ambiguous, unstructured environments; derive satisfaction from creating orderly environment
