Position:                   Associate Project Engineer

Location:                  Bangpoo, Samutprakarn

Job Type:                  Permanent

Salary Range:           Up to experience

Provide technical support to the responsible engineer (design authority) for a particular engineering discipline. Potentially working under supervision, complete engineering assignments efficiently and cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. 

Job Responsibility:

1. Technical contribution

Collects data and gathers information, and supports production of the engineering design concept/philosophy (e.g. creates drafts for the Project Engineer to approve). Performs standard computations, or analysis, and performs basic design tasks applying standard techniques and procedures. Assists on other tasks such as preparation of permit applications, material testing, creating drawings and computer aided design work. Exercises limited judgment on details of work and on application of standard methods. Checks design deliverables.  

2. Contract management

Maintains an understanding of contract scope. Proactively identifies variation requests to support contract claims.

3. Planning and control

Follows work plans and cost estimates for work in own area of responsibility and proactively manages this work to deliver the agreed program on time, on quality and at targeted cost.

4. Risk and opportunity management

Supports risk assessments and the implementation of resulting actions for own projects.

5. Customer

Ensures that company is presented as a professional organization in all interactions with the customer.

6. Supply chain management

Collaborates with the Supply Chain function and reviews vendor documentation. 

7. Processes and tools

Uses standard processes and tools applicable to own area.
