POSITION: External Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist
LOCATION: Sun Tower, Bangkok
JOB TYPE: Contract (6-month renewable)
SALARY RANGE: 70,000 - 100,000 baht

Responsibilities:
Overview:
- The position will be responsible for Co-manufacturing quality management follow to Mars External Manufacturing Quality Management (EMQM) Standard, establish ongoing product risk monitoring, exception management, product quality verification program, monitor Supplier quality management, develop, and ensure continuous improvement through supplier audit, Supplier status monitoring.
- This position will be responsible on both supplier and internal client relationship management. Ensure the goods and service are consistency achieve food safety, quality, legality, intellectual property protection
Job scope:
- Decide CVS Process achievement
- Implement EMQA
- Decide Supplier status
- Decide to approve or reject the exception product
- Access and evaluate supplier quality management performance to the Commercial for developing sourcing strategies.
- Recommend solution or decision on quality standards when have supply quality incidents and co-man product quality issue
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical Risk Assessment of Material - Pack – Product – Process through EMPRA
- Accountable – EM Capability assessment and risk mitigation action completion, esp. HACCP and Thermal process compliance.
- Responsible to ensure the qualification process are well performed thru CVS process and comply to agree process.
- Responsible to the quality management Handover from development stage (HO1)
- Responsible in coordination of product or process development activity such as recipe development, sample preparation, pilot scale trial, commission and the first production run, to ensure all potential risk have been considered and minimized, confirm process capability achieve product requirement
- Ensuring that Business IP has been protected as well as manage supplier relationship when have any communication or trial
- Develop and review Process Capability and set up process specification and Confirm the KQA performance versus specification
- Set up product/process positive release monitoring and verification schedule
- Ensure all goods deliver to market in the good condition. Not damage from under specification of packaging
- Responsible to the quality management Handover from Mars Quality management to Co-Man (HO2)
- Responsible to the speed to market during managing project.
- Develop yearly verification program responsible product and EM from risk assessment review
- Accountable – EM technical contracts achievements – TS1, TS2, TS3 are documented, aligned and signed off with the stakeholder (Mars Internal Customers Mars-EM)
- Ensure Technical documents are documented and controlled (Nexus)
- Periodically evaluate the EM Key Performance Index
- Investigate through root cause analysis for complaints handling, exception management or any assignments.
- Accountable to effective change management control at EM when any significant change of product, process, or packaging changes. EMPRA or Technical must be updated
- Monitor the product compliance to Mars requirements and Market regulations
- Responsible to EM Audit and CAPA completion and their effectiveness.
- Conduct Proactive quality management review with key Markets and benchmarking for improvement
- Responsible for the alignment of product and process specification with both responsible market and supplier. Conduct process audit or review the compliance time to time.
- Drive the continuous Improvement and Development by KPI monitoring and priority
- Schedule and lead quality review meeting at EM
- Ensure effective of customer complaint handling and nonconformity management
- Leveraging external capability thru the DiB program
- Team player of team engagement
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in food science, microbiological, or Food Engineer
- Prior management of teams in a quality related capacity will be an advantage
- Experience in cannery process, packaging expertise
- Experience in Product development or Quality assurance and Auditing skill
- Experience in operation area
- More than 5 years’ experience in an FMCG environment.
- At least 5 years of experience working as an auditor in a food factory will be an advantage.
- Fluency English communication for listening, writing and speaking.
- Effective Influencing, interpersonal skill and communication. Able to manage diversity environment
- Sound knowledge on quality system management, having auditing skill
- Must have a technical knowledge such as raw material, processing, basic chemistry & microbiology.
- Well Experience in Project management.
- Able to drive and travel both domestic and international business trip
