Senior Procurement - Construction Industry
Currently we are looking for Senior Procurement who has a background from construction industry who has wide experience in managing project value from 100M – 1,000M. Procurement work is including Procurement Operations, Supplier Management Contract Management, Cost Control and managing team of 2 subordinate to work for our client. Our client is in construction field which listed in public company.
POSITION: SENIOR PROCUREMENT
LOCATION: Rama6, Bangkok
JOB TYPE: Permanent
SALARY RANGE: 60,000 – 65,000 THB (Depend on experience)
BENEFIT: Group Insurance, Provident Fund, Bonus -average 3 months,
Dental 2,000 THB per year, Eligible to all leave require by labor law
Responsibilities:
Procurement Operations:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day procurement operations within the assigned section.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Implement procurement strategies and plans in alignment with company objectives.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Develop and maintain efficient procurement processes and workflows.
- Conduct RFP, RFQ for gathering quotation from suppliers/ Contractors and closely work with requestor to evaluate bid result, if required.
- Analysis specification or Scope of work (SOW’S) required by requestor and closely work with requestor to identify supplier/ contractor and negotiate contract for specific purchase requisition.
- Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of local suppliers and local regulations.
- Collaborates and communicates effectively with internal business clients across different organizational levels, functions, businesses and geographies to clarify procurement goals and objectives, agree on procurement tactic, address queries and issues.
- Work and support closely with Bidding and Engineering Team, and Finance teams.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the procurement section team.
Supplier Management:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery capabilities.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to maximize value and minimize risk.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and address any issues or concerns.
Contract Management:
- Prepare and review procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Coordinate with legal and finance teams to finalize and execute contracts.
- Monitor contract performance, enforce contract terms, and resolve any contract-related disputes.
Cost Control:
- Collaborate with the cost control team to manage procurement budgets and control expenses.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project timelines.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed procurement decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing procurement operations and supplier relationships.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations, and market trends.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Able to drive and work upcountry, able to work on site, able to work weekends occasionally.
