Logistic & Warehouse Specialist (Dangerous good)

This position is for a Logistics Specialist role within our Asia Pacific Logistics team. The successful candidate will have a proactive role in ensuring customer satisfaction levels are consistently maintained, by managing and monitoring Logistics performance, following up with both internal and external partners. Working in a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate must be detail-oriented, possess the ability to use data effectively to take meaningful action and be part of a team that will influence change at different levels within businesses and with our Logistics partners.

POSITION:           LOGISTIC & WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST  
LOCATION:          Pathumwan, Bangkok
JOB TYPE:            Permanent

Position Purpose:

Lead and manage Logistics operations - Warehousing, Transportation and Logistics buy for Thailand by ensuring safety, quality, service and continuity of supply at a competitive cost.

Position Responsibilities:

• Strong Business Supply Chain connect to understand Business VOC, spend and develop Logistics capability to meet business need
• Lead and Support Logistics Buy in line with Regional/Global Category Management Strategy for Thailand.
• Implement Supplier Relationship Management programs for Performance Management and drive Value creation 
• Lead Distribution Safety programs to ensure corporate and regulatory compliance and improved emergency response capability.
• Run and implement Minimum Country Programs on safety, Internal controls, BRRP and SOX controls for Logistics processes
• Provide overall guidance and training to businesses, align SOPs for operations, implement KPIs.
• Monitor and track Suppliers Performance metrics and issues, leading improvement actions
• Represent Logistics focal contact for Thailand
• Drive continuous improvement and cost savings by supplier and business engagement through Optimization, Value Creation – supplier led projects and support buy processes
• Leverage Regional best practices with suppliers on productivity and compliance, supplier consolidation and lead Logistics projects 

 Knowledge/Skills/Attributes

• Good Knowledge of Logistics modes of warehousing, trucking and Trade compliance
• Sound understanding of Dangerous goods - handling, storage, best practices and DG goods compliance
• Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills.    
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work across multiple culture
• Good command of English and communication skills

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5~8 years of experience in Logistics operation
