Supply Chain Manager (Nakhon Pathom Based) 

Position:                      Supply Chain Manager (Nakhon Pathom Based)

Location:                     Nakhon Pathom, Thailand

Job Type:                    Permanent

Salary Range:             150,000 THB (Up to experience)

Responsibility:

Responsible for management, development and leadership of all supply chain capabilities (Planning, Logistics, Order Fulfillment & Customer Service) for respective cluster / country.  Aligns supply chain execution with business strategy, customer segmentation and product portfolio development. Drives continuous improvement process with a visible effect on owned key supply chain metrics.

  • Supply Chain Overall Responsibilities –Lead inventory and logistics management processes, including budget, forecast, execution & continuous improvement. Lead supply chain Standard Operating Procedures development and Execution. Leading supply chain cost saving projects. Lead S&OP process. Nest core supply chain metrics, benchmark performance and oversee supply chain initiatives focused on driving beter performance.
  • Develop & Deploy Supply Chain Capabilities –Align supply chain capabilities to fit with appropriate BU market strategies. Lead implementation of supply chain capabilities for managed cluster / country. the region, providing leadership for the “How” regarding supply chain execution.  Work in coordination with the CAN Global Supply Chain Manager and other Regional Supply Chain Managers, to develop, maintain and deploy necessary capabilities to improve our supply chain execution in the business.   Provide value to the business by assessing gaps in capabilities and/or performance, and guiding the business to build necessary capabilities to execute to meet current and future challenges
  • Business Partner – Engage with Leadership Team to understand the business strategy and align supply chain design to execute business strategy. Align supply chain efforts across other functions, especially with Commercial & SMT Teams on Go to Market  approach (RMRM), Customers Segmentation and service level rendered to those customers (per segment), with RMS on raw material inventory and vendor management, with FSQR & EHS on regulatory, quality and safety compliance etc.. Work with ROM and Regional SC Lead to prioritize supply chain initiatives. Network with other CAN Supply Chain Managers, as well as those outside of Company, to enhance internal connectivity and bring external insight to our business execution.
  • Talent – Directly manage Supply Chain Team (full scope covers Customer Service, Planning, Inventory management and Logistics). Understand the talent needs of the organization to perform supply chain activities.  Work with ROM and Regional SC Lead to help assess and place appropriate talent, as needed to support business goals. Coach individuals/teams, building strong capabilities among leadership. Work with the HR to ensure succession plans are in place for key supply chain positions.
  • Change & Culture - Drive broader engagement of supply chain capabilities and collaboration among other departments, specifically with Commercial, SMT, RMS and OPS. Focus on process improvements with Operations Excellence attitude. Investigate failures, identify and understand root causes, drive continuous improvement, Promote best practices sharing implementation. Tracks and communicate key supply chain metrics especially related to customer experience, adherence to plan, inventory and cost competitiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years supply chain management experience / logistics related field
  • Advanced degree in Transportation, Supply Chain or Operations / related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience across multiple supply chain competencies:  Logistics, Planning, Customer Service, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect functional execution to business strategy
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Collaborative approach to problem solving
  • Demonstrated capability to successfully partner with peers and senior business leaders.
  • Experienced in change management
  • Good Project Management Skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Self-motivated, results oriented with focus on continuous improvement
  • Bilingual (English with other appropriate for the cluster/country)

Preferred:

  • APICS CPIM Certification
  • Prior experience and knowledge quality management systems, operations excellence, process improvement, six sigma
  • Prior experience managing multiple projects
  • SAP Experience is a plus – especially with APO and TM modules
