We are currently looking for Project Control Specialist based in Bangkok to join the team delivers products, systems, service and software solutions as part of its comprehensive power & automation offering for the grid across the power value chain - serving utility, industry, transportation and infrastructure customers.
POSITION: Project Control Specialist (Requirement Primavera Program)
LOCATION: Bangkok
JOB TYPE: Permanent
REPORT TO: Head of Business Unit
SALARY RANGE: Up to experience

Responsibility:
- Ensure projects follow sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures as well as an integrated schedule and cost control performance measurement process.
- Define project work and cost breakdown structure and current schedules that provide time phased baseline, actual and forecasted data of project.
- Analyze the project requirement with the team, check all the essential work activities and issue progress reports, program updates and productivity data on a regular basis as requested by customer and stakeholder.
- Monitor project progress and regularly analyze project critical paths to ensure all critical path activities and project milestones are progressed to the path and provide inputs for optimizing resources.
- Monitor cost and project cash flow accurately, maintain detailed estimate of the completion forecast, analyze variance using earned value management techniques and advise project management on any cost and cash flow issues.
- Integrate material resources requirements with the project schedule and define procurement activities, communicate with SCM team and update schedules to ensure procurement activities take place in a timely to optimize lead time.
- Participate in monthly project reviews, compose reports and update all required project data in project controls systems and SAP for management information and project analysis.
- Work with the project team to identify and assess the priority of project risk, maintain the risk register, propose mitigation plans and analyze the impact of risk on the overall timeline and cost.
- Administer the change order systems and advise the Project Manager on the cost impact of potential changes and ensure the control estimate/budget is updated.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineeringor equivalent
- 5-6 years of experience in planning / scheduling for time and cost projects
- Excellent knowledge and experience for Substation projects using Primavera tool
- PMP Certified and experience in Project Management skills- meeting deadlines, follow up on and escalate late actions, close gaps and conversant with project life cycle
- Experience in estimating and tendering (SAP and MS Excel based system)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills along with assertive business acumen
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Thai
