Demand Planning Manager - Nakhon Pathom based

POSITION:                  Demand Planning Manager

LOCATION:                  Nakhon Pathom

Job Type:                    Permanent

Salary range:              65,000 THB (Up to experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the discussion of the sales and operations planning with related department
  • Inventory and forecasting activities associated with products, raw materials and finished goods
  • Ensures steady supply of both raw material and finished goods by creating and maintaining optimum inventory and developing forecast models
  • Basic forecast modeling
  • Coordination of cross-functional activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
  • Utilization of a collaborative and consensus approach by working with manufacturing, sales, marketing and customer Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
  • Historical review of sales trends, demand drivers, forecast data, development of statistical forecast models and evaluate forecast results.
  • Providing input to the supply planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
  • Cleanup of master data and maintaining its integrity
  • Timely and accurate submission of required reports
  • Effective management of subordinates which includes coaching and mentoring
  • Focus group for improvement on demand forecast
  • Implementation of best practice
  • Coach and build process within supply chain and commercial team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an industrial Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain management
  • Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills
  • Efficiency in English communication
  • Be able to work 6 days a week (Mon-Sat)
