POSITION: Sourcing Engineer
LOCATION: Bangpoo, Samutprakarn
JOB TYPE: Permanent
SALARY RANGE: 45,000 – 60,000 THB (Up to experience)
BENEFIT: Group insurance, Fix bonus, Performance bonus and PVD fund
Responsibility:
- Being key contact person for all vendor
- Selecting vendor in consistency with global material strategy and vendor strategy
- Managing the relationship and performance with vendors to reach quality, delivery, productivity and concentration objectives for their perimeter and to develop innovation when applicable
- Delivering the sustainable and challenge productivity from negotiation with vendors, change of vendors, while respecting purchasing process
- Building and reinforcing material strategy for STL and ensure alignment with EAJP and Plant requirement. Vendor ability are evaluated completely through SSQM system
- Prioritizing business to recommended vendors with developing long term business relationship
- To responsible for material management with leadership of vendors through regular and efficient Business and Performance review
- initiating, drive and follow up execution of productivity projects and actions for completion achieving goals
- Leading and prioritization of vendor improvement projects. Involve vendor in the introduction of new process technologies as a part of the business added value opportunity
- Understanding the anticipate gap between demand and supply in order to ensure right supplier capacity in place both short term and long term
- Engaging team to eliminate roadblocks at suppliers and manage escalation issues from plant supply chain appropriately
- Responsible for accurate reporting management, including OTTO, AOC, SAP MDG. Purchasing tools such as ARIBA is discipline used regularly
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Engineering. MBA is advantage.
- At least 5 years sourcing, purchasing experience in Plastic or Stamping Commodity and Cost Structure Analysis.
- Must have excellent in English communication
- Knowledge in SAP would be plus
