Key Account Manager & Commercial Sales Leader

We are currently looking for Key Account Manager & Commercial Sales Leader for our client, one of the World leader in Agricultural Consulting, based in Thailand.

SALARY RANGE:
     200K – 300K (up to experience)

Summary:

As a Key Account Manager & Commercial Sales Leader, you are expected to manage existing customers, business partners relationships, sell products and solutions and drive profitable growth. You will achieve sales goals in assigned geography or customer/business partner accordingly with Marketing/Sales plans. You will drive customer success and share of wallet. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales accountability for $20 to $50 million per year at complex strategic accounts (several regions and business platforms or agroholding
  • Customer and market related activities: strategic account management, relationship building, contract negotiations, competitive analysis, profitability analysis
  • Overall market evaluation: segment exploration, market assessment, opportunity identification, market potential and attractiveness evaluations
  • Uses extensive knowledge of customers’ total needs and product offerings to form account strategies and promote long term value creation
  • Manage multiple platform sales when applicable and drive the implementation of strategic plans with sellers/FRA responsible for different branch offices where decision makers are located
  • Coordinate commercial and cross functionnal activities to allow customer and business success. Establishes and maintains both internal and external customer focus by initiating and utilizing joint customer teams
  • Forecasting, aligning internal departments such as other sellers serving the customer
  • Articulating a deep, abiding belief that customer and internal sellers drive business strategy
  • Constantly seeks to understand influences on current customer/consumer needs
  • Understanding the business levers to pull (e.g. price, volume, growth) in order to increase margins
  • Anticipating questions/obstacles and develops possible answers and options to increase results, profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Finding common ground and aims for win-win outcomes
  • Building a sales opportunity pipeline by discovering unarticulated needs
  • Encouraging cross-selling opportunities from different segments
  • Accountable for achieving sales, profitability and expenses customers plans
  • Accountable for managing credit risk and on-time collection for customers
  • Ensuring proper product stewardship and compliance with sales processes and company policies
  • Coaching others on identifying and delivering a total customer solution
  • Developing contacts and strong relationships at senior management level with key accounts
  • Conducting fluent and assertive communications with key stakeholders, pursuing internal engagement and alignment on action plans to address customer needs and generating profitable growth

Qualifications

  • Thai National and fluent in English is mandatory
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field, Master's degree is a great advantage
  • Previous experience in Account Management or Territory Sales in the field of Chemical, Biochemical and Agriculture
  • 10+ years’ experience in Key Account Management, Sales
  • Experience managing multi-regional complex strategic accounts
  • Strong analytical skills to build hypotheses and develop strategic and tactical action plans
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
