POSITION: RIM-Cloud operation Team Lead
LOCATION: Interlink Tower (Data Center Bang-Na) and Onsite Charoen Nakorn
JOB TYPE: Contract (12-month renewable)
SALARY RANGE: 35,000 -50,000 baht
BENEFIT: Social Security Fund, Group Insurance etc.
Responsibilities:
- The Senior Cloud Operations Team Lead will oversee and guide our Cloud Operations Team, ensuring the efficient, secure, and reliable operation of our cloud environments spanning Azure, AWS, GCP, and our local cloud infrastructure.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Cloud Operations Team ensuring high-performance standards and alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate with other IT and business teams to ensure streamlined operations and effective collaboration.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and support of infrastructure services on Azure, AWS, GCP, and local cloud.
- Ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of all cloud services.
- Manage costs effectively and optimize cloud resources.
- Incident and Problem Management:
- Oversee and participate in incident resolution, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
- Implement effective root cause analysis and long-term fix for problems.
- Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support when required.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate and introduce new tools, technologies, and practices to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Keep abreast of industry best practices and innovations.
- Security and Compliance:
- Work with security teams to ensure cloud environments are compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
- Regularly review and audit infrastructure to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain thorough documentation for all operational procedures and cloud infrastructure configurations.
- Provide regular reports on infrastructure health, performance, and costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in Azure, AWS, and GCP. Experience with local cloud infrastructure is a plus.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices.
- Knowledge of Windows / Linux based systems
- knowledge of LAN/WAN solutions, include experience with Cisco routers and switches, Internet firewalls, VPN
- Familiarity with monitoring and ITSM tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, OpManager, ServiceDesk plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
