HR Manager (Bangpoo, Samutprakarn)

Position:           HR Manager Thailand

Location:           Bangpoo, SamutPrakan

Industry:             Chemical

Job Type:             Permanent

Salary range:             75,000 THB

Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for the execution of the full scope of HR activities in country (recruitment, labor relations, employee & management development, remuneration, etc.)
  • Be employee advocate and focus on engagement levels and compliance; develop initiatives to assess, measure, diagnose and improve employee morale, engagement and organizational health.
  • Provide expert advice to local management on a range of individual and collective HR issues in accordance with company policies, procedures and ‘Best Practice’ to deliver solutions on employment issues.
  • Coach managers in performance management activities such as giving performance feedback, conducting annual performance appraisals, identifying and attending to under performance.
  • Direct the implementation of Global and/or Regional HR policies; execute and administer processes within the local legal framework.

Qualifications:

  • Thai nationality only
  • Aged over 30 years old
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience in different areas of specialist (C&B, Recruitment employee and Labor relations, etc.)
  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree in HR Management or related field
  • Be able to travel
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal
  • Has knowledge of local employment and labor laws
  • Experience in team management
  • Competence in managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong results
  • Ability to manage in a changing environment and deal with ambiguity

Skills and Competencies:

  • Good conflict management, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with all levels of management across all departments
  • Must be confident communicator, including both written and verbal, and able to effectively present to all levels of organization
