Senior Manager - Employee Relations and HRM

We are currently looking for Senior Employee Relations Manager for the world leading Automobile Manufacturer, based at Laem Chabang Industrial Estate, Chonburi. This role will in charge of Employee Relations of both manufacturing site and back office.

POSITION:                    Senior Employee Relations Manager

LOCATION:                  Laem Chabang, Chonburi

JOB TYPE:                    Permanent

SALARY RANGE:          180,000 THB/Month (up to experience)

BENEFIT:                     Bonus started at 7 months, medical insurance, and etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Labor Relations:Implement Strategic Management of Labor Union and tactic to control for compliances with Labor Relationship Law and implement communication to all employees and member of Labor Union 
  • Be a leader of negotiation team with Labor Union or employee
  • Promotes a constructive labor relation in company
  • Attending to employee/labor relations problems finding the most effective solutions, and managing the required negotiations with union and/or staff representatives. 
  • Working closely with management and representative of employees; Welfare Committee, Employee Committee 
  • Update company rules & regulations to comply with Thailand Labor Law
  • Establish loss prevention strategy and work with Labor Union to minimize business impact from labor dispute
  • Employee Relations and Communication activities: Develop and implement Employee Relations/ Welfare, all Activities of Employees Well-being, Employee Assistance and Happy Workplaces Activities, manage all HRM processes that to ensure a high level of employee motivation and engagement
  • Weekly plant visiting of all factories by HRM/ER patrol in order to arrange HRM/ER meetings/issues and on the job training. And to providing guidance and suggestions regarding HRM & ER matters to each business unit
  • Reduce the gap in organization by serving as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and helping resolve work-related problems.
  • Conducting annual employee engagement survey and exit interviews analyzing the results, and providing reports to relevant managers. In partnership with those managers developing recommendations for change or action
  • To be leader of disciplinary action to build up good behavior and to drives the implementation company rules & regulations, communication and execution of multi-discipline HRM policies, procedures, processes and initiatives
  • Strategies formulating of HRM strategies
  • Leading the development and implementation of HRM strategic plans, core HRM systems and standardizes HRM process and practices, HRM tools to meet business needs
  • To be leader of HRM play a key role in consulting and ensure alignment of policies with partners to business needs and to ensure the right solutions, at the right time and the right place and monitors compliance effort at country level, ensuring all mandatory HRM policies are launched and adopted, Ensures are full compliance with legal requirements (e.g. labor, Safety and tax laws, etc.)
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of global policies & procedures and HRM strategies to achieve corporate and business objectives. 
  • Establish, develop, review and revise HRM policies and practices to be aligned with labor law and regulations as well as corporate principle of responsibility policies and practices in order to avoid labor issues and Union issues
  • To be co-leader to implement the career development, talent management and succession plan of each function and propose to Top Executive team
  • Building trust and good relationship between company (Plant), staff and employee at all levels, promote good working place and environment for positive  attitude
  • Workforce-Manpower Planning: Full fill manpower increase & decrease as needed to support high/low season of customer demand
  • Budget and expenses Control: Coordinating budgeting and HR cost controlling ensuring alignment with yearly business plans.
  • Recruitment & Selections: Controlling the compensation, benefits and performance management systems. Identifying staff vacancies and recruiting, interviewing and selecting applicants
  • Position the company to create a right branding image to internal and external candidates
  • C&B (Compensation & Benefit): Oversee and manage compensation &benefits function, Salary Survey, Salary Gap Analysis and structure to be in line with reward solutions policies and procedure and including keep up to date of the market data to ensure pay competitiveness to attract and retain high performers/Talent Employees
  • HRIS & Payroll: Timely & accurate payroll management, Provide HR information for business decision making and to develop effectiveness workflow
  • PMS & PA: Managing Performance Management System, Performing analysis of planning and directing, supervising, and coordinating work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, employee relations and execution PMS to ensure all KPI’s & Goals of employee and department are aligned with company vision, mission, core value and goals and have good system of goals tracking and feedback to employee
  • Support implementation of EHS system (Environment, Health & Safety) ISO45001, ISO14001 and ISO 001 Quality Management systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Thai nationality, Male, 40 years old and above
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law/ Human Resources Management/ Public Administration/ Business Administration or related fields
  • At least 10 years working experiences in Labor Relation function in large manufacturing environment (HC: 3,000 and above)
  • Must have direct experience in management of Labor Union negotiation, Disciplinary action
  • Strong knowledge of Thai Labor Law is a must
  • EICC/TLS knowledge
  • Mature personality, people-oriented, hands-on with result-driven
  • Good knowledge of Human Resources Management best practices
  • Strong influencing, change management, communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills and able to work well under pressure
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken and computer literacy in all Microsoft office
