Position: Quality Engine & Laboratory Manager
Location: Rayong, Thailand
Job Type: Permanent
Salary Range: 80,000 – 100,000 THB (Up to experience)
Benefit: Yearly bonus, Provident fund, Five days’ work
RESPONSIBILITY
- Ensure the respect of the defined quality standard for the milling machine process (crankcase and engine head) and the assembly process of engines produced
- Prepare and update the control plan for the parts machined
- Prepare and update the control plan for the engine assembled in the line
- Prepare and update the control plan for the tightening tools, the measurement machine and instruments and for the machining used on the process
- Support the staff assigned to control the products
- Set the Quality Check Point along the manufacturing process
- Ensure that the equipment is efficient
- Manage the information workflow in order to inform the relevant people for the quality problems
- Ensure the correct document management (preparation, updates, communication)
- Determining, negotiating and agreeing in-house quality procedures, standards and/or specifications
- Specifying quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers
- Support the Quality Director in analyzing the issues emerged from the quality report and the actions taken after the product control
- Working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures
- Writing management/technical reports
- Determining training needs
- Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance/quality
- Directing objectives to maximize profitability
- Recording, analyzing and distributing statistical information
- Monitoring performance
- Supervising technical and laboratory staff
- Definition and management of yearly budget (costs and investments)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technical will be advantage
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience is required in Company that operating in same field
- Good knowledge in mechanical technical drawing (based on ISO standards)
- Good knowledge in measurement equipment:
- CMM [Coordinate-measuring machine]: Carl Zeiss machines and Calipso software will be advantage
- Roughness machine and Roundness machine: Taylor&Hobson machines will be advantage
- Good knowledge in milling machining process
- Good knowledge in assembly process for engines: quality check points, functionality tests, KPI on process
- Analysis and monitoring of tightening on industrial application
- Periodical calibration of measuring instruments and tightening tools
- Statistical process control (SPC)
- Software knowledge:
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Project)
- ERP [Enterprise Resource Planning] system: SAP system will be advantage
- Ability to communicate effectively in English

- Possess good working attitude and demonstrate the strong desire to accomplish all assignments.
